9 years ago I awkwardly celebrated Valentine's day with this handsome man! We were newly dating and unsure how to treat our new relationship! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We were so awkward that we would sign the word awkward to each other for pretty much any situation! 🤦🤣 Our first Valentine's day together I bought a heart shaped sugar cookie made from our favorite pizza place (Brick Oven Pizza in Provo UT, where I worked at the time) I had them write the word awkward on it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I gave it to him we both noticed that they had spelled the word "awkard" instead of "awkward" ... 🤣🤣 We both had a pretty good laugh about it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That Valentine's day is still one of my favorite to remember! We were so young and unsure of our futures! We ended up making Oreo cookies with my roommates and I'm pretty sure we went for a really long walk after! We used to walk all over town talking about everything and anything! 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love how we started! Now we have two handsome boys but we still have our inside jokes and we love going on walks, although they are shorter walks now! ♥️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Happy Valentine's day all! Honestly the holidays ALWAYS throw us off it literally takes us MONTHS to get back into the swing of things! Because of this though I have been working hard to totally redo how I do things around here! I have been watching and learning from many other amazing entrepreneurs! Things I have been learning span from schedules, family life, work-life, peace, mindfulness, adventure, budgeting, cleaning and so so much more. I am realizing that I am more than just my photography although that is my business and what I LOVE! So stay tuned as I figure out how to give my business a facelift and hopefully get back on track so that I feel like I'm not mindlessly working! (I don't want something I love so dearly to turn into something that I HAVE to do!) When I get overwhelmed I tend to turn a blind eye to things and unfortunately those things can be things I LOVE ... so thank you for hanging in here with me as I learn to do well ...
